Welcome to Theater Design Company. We design, sell, install, and calibrate two-channel rooms, cinema-grade amplification, and architectural speakers. KEF, Kimber Kable, AudioControl, and Stealth Acoustics are typical. Based in the Northwest, we serve all of Washington and take projects nationwide.

Two-channel listening rooms

A two-channel room is not a leftover theater. We design speaker layout, bass, and amplification for the actual room — not a generic stereo diagram. That includes floorstanding speakers where they belong, hidden in-walls where they belong, and electronics that can drive the system cleanly. KEF and Kimber Kable are typical in our listening rooms. We install and calibrate so the center image holds and the room disappears.

Cinema-grade amplification

The picture only works if the electronics can hold the speaker load. We spec processors, amplifiers, and power for the actual room — not a receiver in a closet. That includes AudioControl and LEA where the theater needs headroom, clean multichannel power, and calibration after the room is finished. AudioControl and LEA are typical in our cinemas. We install and set levels so dialogue stays clear and the system does not run out of steam.

Architectural speakers that hide

Not every room can take cabinets on the floor. We design in-wall and in-ceiling layout for the actual space — not a generic whole-home diagram. That includes KEF architectural speakers where they belong, dedicated cinema speakers where they belong, and electronics that can drive both cleanly. AudioControl and KEF are typical in these systems. We install and calibrate so the speakers disappear and the room still plays like a real system.
